The Board of Directors of Plymouth Senior Little League and Plymouth Babe Ruth have come together in the best interests of the kids to combine back into one single program. The combination of leagues will allow for better structure and balance for kids ages 13-16. The newly formed entity will continue to be called Plymouth Babe Ruth, however, will include members of both sides of town on the Board of Directors to ensure parity.
In addition to the regular season, there will also be 13U and 14U AAU teams as well as a summer season offered for all players. A combination of district All-Star teams and other teams playing in the South River league will provide an opportunity for all. The combination of leagues will also provide for more balanced competition, centralized scheduling, and more field access.
Information will follow in the paper and through social media regarding sign-ups and tryouts for the newly formed league.
